Olling et al. (...) were unable to demonstrate significant relationships between adverse effects and PK metrics. We have also failed, using conventional statistical techniques such as logistic regression. However, a combination of modern exploratory data analysis such as GAM with mixed-effect PK-PD modelling has shown a highly significant relaionships using the results of a relatively small, conventional size BE trial.
